A 3-week guided journey through the ideas, tools, and practices from The Campfire Method book.
We start Tuesday, July 28, 2026
About the Campfire Circle
You’ve seen it happen. The icebreaker falls flat. The room stays quiet. The voices you most needed to hear never show up.
You don’t need more icebreakers. You need a better way to help people arrive, connect, and contribute.
Maybe you’ve tried the usual openers and felt the energy drain out of the room instead of into it. The polite smiles. The one person who dominates while everyone else goes quiet. The sense that connection is happening to people, not with them.
It doesn’t have to be like this.
The Campfire Method is about designing sessions where people warm up gradually, feel safe enough to speak, and nobody gets left out.
We’ll read the book together over three weeks, chapter by chapter, so you don’t need to have finished it, or even started it, to join. This won’t be just boring PowerPoint slides with me reading the book out loud. I designed an experiential training that focuses on your sessions, your groups, and your questions.

Imagine if you could…
- Design a training, workshop or meeting where people contribute freely
- Feel a session build warmth on purpose, instead of hoping it lands
- Choose the right activity because you understand why, not because you copied a list
- Know exactly what to adjust mid-session when something isn’t working
- Walk into your next facilitation, living and breathing the Campfire Method
Join the first Campfire Circle
This is more than just a “book club”. Each week, we take one part of the method, experience it together through the same activities you’ll find in the book, and unpack why they work, so you’re not just collecting techniques, you’re learning to think like the method.

About the Facilitator
Hey, I’m Jan 👋
I help leaders, facilitators, and teams create brave spaces where real conversations happen.
For over a decade, I’ve worked with organizations to turn crickets into conversations, low engagement into deep connection, and small talk into meaningful dialogue. My expertise is in facilitative leadership — helping you not just run meetings, but create experiences where people feel included, heard, and empowered to contribute.
I’ve designed and led hundreds of workshops, trained leaders across industries, and developed frameworks that help facilitators handle resistance, disengagement, and high-stakes moments with confidence.
I wrote The Campfire Method to lay out what actually works instead, and why. But a book can only take you so far. This cohort is where we do the part that’s harder to write down: watching your specific sessions, your specific groups, and figuring out together what the method looks like in your hands.

Frequently Asked Questions
🤨 What will it be like?
Interactive from the first minute. Expect breakout conversations, live polls, reflection prompts, and connection activities straight from the book, so you experience the method as a participant, not just study it.
Nobody will put you on the spot, and there’s no pressure to perform. That’s kind of the whole philosophy.
📕 Do I need to have finished the book first?
No, and you’re not meant to. This is a read-along. We work through the book together over the three weeks, so joining partway through a chapter is exactly the point. You will need your own copy though, in whatever format suits you.
You can get it on Amazon if you haven’t already
⌚️ What if I can't make the live times?
Each session runs twice for different time zones, and every session is recorded. If a vacation week or a client conflict takes you out for a session, you’ll have the recording, the materials, and the group to catch you up.
🔐 100% Money Back Guarantee
If you attend and don’t learn something new or useful, I’ll refund your ticket. 100%.
No awkward emails. No questions asked.
I’m confident that everyone will walk away with value, whether you’re in the hot seat or observing from the sidelines.
